Definition

Aging Index is a score from 0 to 100 that reflects how an individual's estimated biological age compares with their chronological age, with higher scores indicating more favorable patterns associated with healthy aging.

Background

The Aging Index is calculated by comparing the average of Facial Skin Age and Cardiovascular Metabolic Age with an individual's chronological age and converting the result to a score ranging from 0 to 100. A score of 50 indicates that the estimated biological age is equivalent to the chronological age. Scores above 50 indicate that the estimated biological age is lower than the chronological age, while scores below 50 indicate that the estimated biological age is higher than the chronological age.
