AGE_CVM is an estimate of one’s age based on blood flow information in relation
to his or her chronological age.
Background
CVM age serves as an indicator of one’s health in comparison to their chronological age. A person with a healthier lifestyle, a lower likelihood of having CVD and metabolic risks, and a lower cardiac workload is more likely to have a CVM age lower than their chronological age. Likewise, a person with a higher likelihood of having these risks and poorer cardiac health could expect to see their CVM age higher than their chronological age.
